February: Jaimie Whitbread
I'm thrilled to feature Jaimie Whitbread this month, an artist whose work has captured my imagination and filled me with joy!
I have been following Jaimie on Instagram for some time.
I especially love her art style, as an animal lover, I’m always drawn to animal artwork regardless of the style.
She has a real knack for bringing creatures of all kinds to life, from majestic horses and playful cows to fantastical dragons and enchanting monsters. Her work is filled with a sense of magic and whimsy, inviting you to explore the worlds she creates.
She announced in July 2024 that she had started a Kickstarter campaign for “The Grandest Tales of Clementine," a book she wrote and illustrated herself.
I contributed to her campaign and received the book, some artwork, and a thank-you note.
When the book arrived, I was super excited to read it with Pepper.
We loved the unique characters, vibrant colors, and captivating style. The story was beautifully written, and the illustrations brought Clementine's adventures to life in a way that was both charming and unforgettable. Pepper enjoyed that I read the book to her, as we use our reading time as bonding time. She especially loved the pictures of all of the farm animals gathered in the field.

She has a lot of wonderful artwork so we encourage you to check out her work!
She also has artwork for sale and other books she has written and illustrated. It’s truly inspiring to see such hard work and dedication.
