Whiskers of Love is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer run no-kill animal rescue dedicated to saving and finding forever homes for stray cats & TNRM of feral cats in Philadelphia.
I have been volunteering with this rescue for about seven years. I have seen the good and bad.
Some cats are tossed in the streets, burned, shot with BB guns, and abandoned and more. The dedication that Whiskers of Love and its volunteers put forth is truly inspiring!
WOL and their volunteers love all cats as they come into the rescue regardless of their backstory.
Like Amber who was in the rescue for over 10 weeks. After finding her and her kittens she got some time to walk around Petco to pick out some toys and treats.
Some cats need more time than others to adjust to the volunteers and their new environment. They give them as much time as they need and their personality starts to come out and we can learn more about them and what they like!
These babies get the best vet care, immunizations, and spayed/neutered if needed
It’s all thanks to WOL, their vets, and the community who help with donations, adoptions, events, and helping care for our local colonies that help us make a difference to them!
Thank you Whiskers of Love for allowing us to feature you!
